After 25 years of St Hugo cabernet from Coonawarra, the Jacobs Creek team thought it needed a sibling (well, OK, they saw commercial possibilities) and introduced a ‘St Hugo’ shiraz from the Barossa Valley. It’s soft, round and fleshy, ripe, rich and concentrated blackberry, redcurrant pastille and bramble flavours.
